As an “original” Portlander, Ken’s love and knowledge of our fair city’s neighborhoods and history doesn’t get much deeper.
Ken’s real estate career began in property management, but after the urging of a trusted friend to consider selling real estate, he made the switch to residential sales and has never looked back. It’s a career that is so rewarding on many levels for Ken who has never considered himself a “salesman”. Acting as a trusted advisor is where he provides the most value to his clients. He understands that an effective real estate broker analyzes the investment and lifestyle goals of his clients and helps them realize the best possible outcome. “I am a significant part of one of the biggest decisions and monetary investments they’ll make. It’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly.”
Ken has always worked as an independent real estate broker, but when the opportunity to join a seasoned and successful team at Inhabit Real Estate presented itself, he couldn’t pass it up. Working with The Hagstette Group along side Eric, Meagan and Jess is an exciting step in an already successful career. As a team, they each bring unique and distinctive skill sets that will benefit clients in a way that independently, they couldn’t deliver before.
When Ken’s not involved in brokering real estate, he’s usually doing some kind of endurance sport. A multi-time Ironman finisher and a long time triathlon coach and trainer, Ken likes staying active. His latest interest is teaching himself to surf. Ken’s ultimate happy place, however, is with his wife and son. Surrounding himself with family inspired his decision to buy a home with an ADU in NE PDX so his mom could join in the fun. It takes a village after all!
Let Ken’s experience and knowledge help you create your perfect village.
We had a great experience working with Ken to buy our home. We met Ken randomly at an open house and enjoyed talking with him so much that when we were ready to buy our home we asked him to help. Buying a home in Portland can be incredibly frustrating, so it was great to have someone like Ken always looking out for us and offering encouragement when something didn’t work out. Ken was incredibly patient with us through the whole process, taking us to see as many houses as we wanted and spending as much time as we needed at each place. Ken was always eager to help us and always asked us great questions to make sure we were looking for the right things in a house and were going to be happy with our purchase. When it came time to put offers in (which we did multiple times before getting a home that we are ecstatic about), we appreciated Ken’s guidance and strategic approach. We would highly recommend Ken to anyone looking for an agent to help with their home purchase.
