Searching for a home on a budget in the Portland area is a true challenge. Without an experienced realtor like Kelley to help point out possible pitfalls, help negotiate the (assured) issues that come up after a home inspection, and write a budget conscious and acceptable offer, I can’t imagine how much less pleasant my home buying experience would have been. When I found the home I wanted, Kelley worked relentlessly to negotiate issues big and small; everything from pushing back the closing date to negotiating a seller-paid, brand new roof as part of the purchase!
Kelley’s knowledge of the local market and intricacies of the home buying process are an asset that any buyer would be lucky to have. But Kelley’s patience, willingness to explain the aforementioned topics, and good ole’ fashioned kindness are just some of the things that set her apart. I never doubted that I was working with someone who genuinely cared about my interests and who took her role seriously–even if my little home wasn’t going to make her rich. Kelley never hesitated to answer a call or text and has since continued to help me with any questions I’ve had since buying the home. She once told me that I shouldn’t feel bad about asking questions even now that I’ve purchased my home because she’s my “realtor for life,”. That fact makes me very comfortable and If you want to work with someone who is pleasant, who you can trust, who will work with your best-interest in mind, then don’t hesitate to make Kelley your realtor for life too. I couldn’t be happier.
I recently set out to buy my first home and meeting Kelley turned out to be the best possible thing that I could have asked for in the endeavor. As a first-time buyer, I only had random internet articles and often impertinent facts to guide me through the cumbersome and often antiquated process of buying a home; that all changed when I met Kelley. She accepted and treated my modest budget no differently than if I was looking for a mansion, she rose to every challenge along the way, she was an amazing negotiator, she relentlessly worked on my behalf, and she treated me with kindness, patience, and understanding when I had questions or got downright nervous at the prospect of making the biggest purchase of my life.
I have all the confidence in the world that I could not have found a better home and that I could not have done it without you. Thank you once more for all of your patience, knowledge, kindness and advocacy on my behalf. I feel so fortunate to have met you and to have had you as our agent.
Eric is very professional, personable, and very aware of the SE market and how to market the listings he receives. He is straight forward and sincere in his approach. Eric knows what he is marketing and he goes above and beyond to help his clients prepare their home for the best possible opportunity to sell. I highly recommend Eric to anyone who wants a talented agent that really understands how to position their home for sale.
Eric is a hard-worker who brings a lot of experience to his job. We’ve had experiences with other realtors that had no problem helping us buy a house, but just did not have the tenacity or skill to effectively sell the same home when we were ready to move. In comparison, Eric was able to sell our house in Beaverton during the worst economic downturn in my lifetime! His focus on effectively marketing our house and then being there to show the home indicates his commitment and superior ability to serve his clients. He provides excellent advice, and then lets his clients make the decisions. He did not ever pressure us or seem judgmental about any of our decisions, even though his commission may have been affected by our choices. We always recommend Eric to any of our friends or family in Oregon who are interested in buying or selling a home, and they have never been disappointed.
Eric is very laid back and patient, and really listens to you when describing what you are looking for. This was my first experience buying a condo unit, and Eric was very knowledgeable about what I needed to understand about this type of purchase. This helped me move with confidence through the transaction.
When I needed the services of a top-notch realtor, Eric Hagstette was there for my family and me. Eric’s service and attention to detail was very reassuring in a slumping housing market. He was able to bring out the real charm my little Bungalow possessed. Referrals to local handypersons and painters, design and décor, as well as sound advice and professionalism made me feel good about the home we were putting on the market. I was so happy to hear a young family made an offer after the first showing and that our home would bring many happy memories to them, since we had so many of our own. Not only did Eric do an incredible job marketing and selling our home, he was on the ball in finding us a new one in a market with little inventory. And let me tell you, he came through for us and found a property on one of the cutest streets in SE Portland. I never even imagined we could be so lucky, but he found it before other realtors and buyers did, and we immediately made an offer.
Eric, I cannot express how grateful I am to you. You are a great Realtor and great friend of our family. You know the neighborhoods and the houses and most importantly you care for your clients and the community.
Eric is a good family man with a very nice demeanor and was very easy to work with. He really knew my area (Southeast) and priced my home competitively. He had good ideas on how to make my home attractive to buyers, he kept me well informed during the process, and he and his assistants were always available.
Eric was a pleasure to work with. He did a great job of setting our expectations. His integrity and knowledge of the local real estate market are top notch. He has given us excellent advice. And he has the patience of a saint. The home selling process can be pretty stressful, but with Eric that stress was minimized and our goals were realized.
